During my programs, we will discuss the importance of protein in your diet. But, first lets discuss how not all protein is created equal. The source of meat matters.... Pastured, grass-fed and grass-finished, and/or organic meats: As consumer demand increases, it’s becoming easier to transition away from meat from concentrated animal feeding operations and stay within a reasonable budget. Shop grocery and warehouse stores, as well as smaller specialty markets, mail-order options, and farmer’s markets. With some effort, you can likely discover small, local farms and ranches that will sell to you directly at reasonable prices, especially if you sign up for regular orders or buy in bulk.
